Johnson starred as Alycia Barnett on the television series Melrose Place from 1995 to 1996. From 1997 to 2002 she had a recurring role on the TV series JAG as Rep. Bobbi Latham and in 2003 as Ms. Kimberly Trotter on the series The System. Johnson starred as Sharon Upton Farley on the television series Girlfriends from 2003 to 2004 and as Donna Cabonna on the TV series That’s So Raven in 2006. She served as the First Vice President of the Screen Actor’s Guild.
