Callie Khouri directed the film Mad Money in 2008 and wrote, directed, and produced the TV series Nashville in 2012. In 1992 she won an Academy Award for Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen for Thelma & Louise. Khouri won a Golden Globe Award in 1992 for Best Screenplay for the same film. She also won a Writers Guild of America Award for Thelma & Louise in 1992. Khouri married record producer T Bone Burnett in 2006.
