Moore attended the University of South Carolina and graduated with a degree in Political Science in 1975. She subsequently got an MBA from George Washington University then went to work at Chemical Bank. Darla is considered one of the most powerful women in business. She’s also a generous philanthropist having given away more than $100 million to charity including $25 million to her alma mater UCS to establish the Moore School of Business.
