He has played on the Nationwide Tour and Canadian Tour. He won the Mexico Open on the Nationwide Tour in 2011. Compton won three times on the Canadian Tour: 2003 Michelin Guadalajara Classic, 2004 E-Loan Central Valley Classic, and MTS Classic. He also won the 2004 Hassan II Golf Trophy and has two wins on the NGA Hooters Tour. In 2004 he tied for 2nd at the U.S. Open. He lives in Miami with his wife Barbara and their daughter.
