Li has won the Cannes Film Festival Trophy, two Golden Phoenix Awards, two Golden Rooster Awards, and three Hundred Flower Awards. Li was voted the most beautiful woman in China in 2006. Gong Li has also served as a spokeswoman for Shanghai Tang clothing. Gong was previously married to tobacco tycoon Ooi Hoe Seong.
