During his career, Hiroshi was responsible for the success of plastic playing cards, Nintendo 64, Nintendo game cube and other Nintendo products as well as several Nintendo video games. He was also the majority owner of the Seattle Mariners baseball team, though he never attended a single game in person. Hiroshi Yamauchi was born in Koyoto, Japan on November 7, 1927 and died September 19, 2013 in Tokyo.
