Konstantin Grigorishin, a Ukraine native and graduate of Moscow State University, initially went into business with Alexei Mordashov, Filatov and Mishin. Their partnership led to the creation of their shipping company Severstaltrans. But after a while Mordashov decided to relinquish his shares. Thus, the trio bought Mordashov’s part and renamed the company to N-Trans.
