She signed with Vision Models in 2009 and went to New York and found favor with Marilyn Agency. She made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week for Cynthia Steffe in Spring 2010. She opened the Spring 2010 Prada show in Milan and then closed for Miu Miu in Paris. Her first major magazine cover came for i-D in the Fall of 2010.Wixson has modeled for John Galliano, Jill Stuart, Alexander McQueen, Versace Vanitas, Barney’s, Chanel, and Mulberry. She joined The Society Management and Elite Model Management in 2013 and was featured in a music video for the band Animal Collective. In July 2014 she was listed at #20 on MODELS.com’s Top 50 Models Women list.
