Michelle McManus was born in Glasgow, Scotland on May 8, 1980. After winning Pop Idol, McManus released her debut studio album “The Meaning of Love” in 2004. The album eventually reached #1 in Scotland and #3 in the UK. The album featured the single “All This Time” which reached #1 in the UK and Scotland and #2 in Ireland. Her single “The Meaning of Love” reached #7 in Scotland. After her debut album she was dropped from her record label Sony BMG. As of this writing she has only released the one studio album. McManus co-presented the television series “The Hour” from 2009 to 2011. She is a columnist for the Glasgow Evening Times. Michelle has been married to Jeff Nimmo since 2017.
