Chow was again nominated for Best Actor at the Hong Kong Film Awards for From Beijing with Love in 1994 and A Chinese Odyssey Part Two: Cinderella in 1995. Stephen acted in, produced, directed, and was a screenwriter for the 2001 film Shaolin Soccer. The film won him four Hong Kong Films Awards and a Blue Ribbon Award. He acted in, produced, directed, was a screenwriter, and composer for his 2004 movie Kung Fu Hustle for which he won nine awards and was nominated for 13 more. Chow again starred in, produced, directed, and was a screenwriter for 2008’s CJ7 which was nominated for three more awards. His 2013 film Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons which he produced, directed, choreographed, and was a screenwriter for was nominated for two Golden Horse Awards. Chow serves as a political advisor for the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
