She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Endeavor Turkey, an international non-profit development organization that finds and supports high-impact entrepreneurs in emerging markets. Suzan Sabancı Dinçer holds a B.A. in Finance and International Marketing from Richmond, The American International University in London, U.K. and an MBA from Boston University. She was named “Businesswoman of the Year” by the Bosphorus University’s Engineering Society in December 2013. In March of 2015, Sabancı Holding elected Sabancı Dinçer to its board of directors. Among her accomplishments as Akbank chairperson and board member, under her leadership Akbank became the first deposit bank in Turkey to issue a Global Reporting Initiative rated Sustainability Report. Another one of her initiatives was for Akbank to participate in the environmentally conscious Carbon Disclosure Project in Turkey.
