Nevo’s road to investment all started in the nineties when he put in a huge chunk of his money into cable companies. Sharp-minded Nevo went on to invest in Time Warner as well as buying big stakes in Comcast, US West and Charter Communications, to name a few. Today, he invests his money in companies like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan and more recently Twitter. Nevo, who once briefly dated supermodel Kate Moss, sights fellow movers and shakers, Rupert Murdoch and Jeff Bewkes (the CEO of Time Warner) as close friends. His new investment in Twitter has, not surprisingly, formed a bond with co-founder of Twitter, Jack Dorsey. Nevo is also close to Lenny Kravitz. It may seem like the unlikely friendship, but the two have been best buddies for years – and they couldn’t be more different. Whereas Kravitz may indulge in the media attention, Nevo prefers to be out of the limelight. In fact, Nevo hires a public relations firm to maintain a private life.
