Bogue is currently one of the Managing Partners at the venture capital firm Founders Den and and the co-founder of investment consortium Data Collective. Previously Bogue was the Managing Partner and founder of the real estate investment firm Montara Capital Partners. Bogue attended Harvard University for his undergraduate degree then went to graduate school at Georgetown Law. As an investor Zack Bogue has been involved with many technology companies including Square, Metamarkets, UberCab and Kaggle. Before entering the tech field Bogue was a partner Virtual Law Partners LLC and a corporate attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. On July 16th 2012, Zack’s wife Marissa Mayer shocked the world when she announced that she would be leaving Google to become the CEO of rival search engine Yahoo. Mayer was the 20th employee hired by Google and was crucial in the company’s development of products like Gmail, News, Maps and Earth. To top it all off, the couple simultaneously announced that the 37 year old Mayer is six months pregnant! The couple lives in a $5 million penthouse at the top of the Four Seasons in San Francisco. The couple was married in 2009.
